Welcome to Cloisters
Adult Learning Week 19 - 25 May 2007
Excitement is building here in the NCS as we start preparing for our big 2007 Open Week. This will be similar to last year's event with sample courses and opportunities to chat with tutors as well as our founders Noel and Arthur and is timed to coincide with Adult Learning Week which runs from the 19th to the 25th of May.
The whole point is to put you, the public, in touch with us, the course providers. In the run up to the big event, you can start the process by making suggestions for future courses. We are keen to hear if there is a course you would like to see in the NCS College of Online Learning. So visit our course suggestions page and start shaping the online learning experience that you want.
Howard Middleton-Jones, our archaeology tutor interviewed Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams a few months ago as part of his investigation into the lives of the Desert Fathers. We have the interview for you on streaming video this month. Follow the link to Howard's site and you can see the interview for yourself.
Arthur has a new course for us this month. He introduces Herbal Remedies in this issue.
Paul seems to have foxed the puzzlers this time. The bug eyed monster is a difficult adversary but you can still pit your wits against him in time for the winners' draw next month.
